We have a Su100 winner!
There was a photo finish between two bikers for the Susitna 100. Tim Berntson edged out Jeff Oatley for the victory, finishing in 11:06:05 with Oatley following in 11:06:06. John Lackey was third, also on bike, in 11:08:34.

Three bikers left Flathorn Lake at 6:30 p.m. The trail remains very fast, so we expect them soon.

Little Su 50 winners
James Stull won overall in the 50K race in an elapsed time of 3 hours and 3 minutes, and was also the first male bike finisher. James’ wife, Amber Stull, won the women’s bike division in 3 hours 21 minutes.
Fast course!
Susitna 100 bikers are streaming into Flathorn Lake, challenging the race record keepers to catch up! It is a beautiful sunny day today for the race.
This year we have 60 bikers, 36 on foot, and 17 skiiers. Seems like a bikers race this year. We’ll try to get those result up as fast as we can.

At 3 p.m. Friday at Point Mackenzie General Store, there was only 2-4 inches of fresh snow that accumulated last night. It is not snowing now, and there is not much wind, either!
